Google unveiled the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system yesterday. According to some officials, the Marshmallow flavour of Android will be uploaded to AOSP on October 5th. So after October 5th, tech giants will start building the update to their flagships. According to latest news, there is no change in the expected time line of Moto X Play Marshmallow update. But exact rollout dates of Android 6.0update for Moto X Play will be revealed in a few days.
A new feature of Marshmallow has revealed just now. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is coming with the security patch level feature also. Users can check their phone’s security level by Going into Settings>About>Android Security Patch Level. It shows when was the last time device received security update. Most devices may show a date of last month because, most tech giants recently started the rollout of monthly security updates due to Stage fright issue. More details about this remarkable feature will be revealed in coming days.
