How to Fix IDM Fake Serial Pop-Up ?

Many Of you may have been facing the pop up that Idm has been registered with the Fake serial number. This pop up is really very irritating since it appears every time when you are about to download some file or when you start your system.
So,here is a Solution...

Method 1

1. Open RUN dialog box [Windows Key + R]
2. Type “regedit” and hit ENTER
3. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DownloadManager
4. Find for “CheckUpdtVM”
5. Change value to “0”

Method 2

1. Go to the IDM directory
2. Find for “IDMGrHlp.exe” and delete it
3. Now find for “idmBroker.exe” and copy/paste in same folder
4. Rename the copied file to “IDMGrHlp.exe”
5. Restart your system to apply this effect
