As Windows 10 is being launched worldwide, Microsoft fans can’t help but wonder when the mobile counterpart of Windows 10 will be making its way to their smartphones. Microsoft South Africa’s Anthony Doherty, might have just let loose a more concrete window than the informed guesses that have been floating around recently.
A Senior Business Group Lead for Microsoft, Doherty talked about Windows 10 making its way to South Africa and when asked about how Microsoft is positioning mobile in its grand strategy for Windows 10, he claimed:
Our core platform is Windows 10. It's mobile in nature, not just the device, but the experience people will have. So there's a big emphasis on the... mobile phone side of it. But there's more thunder on that coming later in the year.
He also referenced a tentative launch timeframe of ‘November’, though that wasn't followed up by any specific date. This is later than the late September/October timeframe that most industry watchers and even Microsoft employees were pointing to. Take note, however, that the statement could simply reflect the launch timeframe for South Africa, with general availability still abiding by the current estimate of October.
Thus, without official confirmation by Microsoft, this statement only muddles the waters, still not giving us a definite launch date (yet).

The search experience which was made available in the universal Store in Windows 10 preview was not up to the mark. Today, Microsoft announced that changes are coming in the new Windows Store: lists and search algorithms, a new web Store, changes to the app listings and updates to ratings and reviews.
Microsoft recently launched a new web Store and confirmed that some of the previously existing functionality is not available in this initial launch. For example, there is no way to see the version number of the app and the last date it was updated in the new web Store. Other changes related to web Store.

Who uses 2G it will hard to face this problem, but Microsoft said that in windows 10 we can download over 100Mb Games,Apps via 3G.

We All know that Windows 10 will begin its rollout for owners of Windows 7 and 8.1 PCs on July 29
As part of its '10 reasons to upgrade' series, Microsoft's latest ad is all about convincing you that Windows 10 is Microsoft's most secure OS to date.
Microsoft has been working non-stop on improving the stability and security of Windows, with a faster update cadence and the promise to fix any issues as soon as they arise. They have certainly stayed true to their word so far, with multiple patchesand security fixes in the last week alone, demonstrating the tech giants' agility in fixing issues.
The video also goes over SmartScreen, Microsoft's built-in solution to protect users from accessing harmful sites, mirroring the function of browser extensions used by antivirus software.
Last of all is the star feature, Windows Hello. It's Microsoft's attempt to create an authentication platform for the future, with support for fingerprint, facial and even iris scanning, allowing authentication to not only be far more accurate than a password but also less cumbersome. This is certainly a useful feature and it looks like multiple devices are soon going to support it - Intel has already provided a list of devices that to do so already, while the upcoming Talkman and Cityman phones are also expected to feature an iris scanner.
UltraISO Premium gives you all the tools you need to create new ISO files, directly edit existing ones, or convert CD and DVD images to ISO. With a nice combination of features and impressive processing power, this app is a great choice for anyone who works with ISO files on a regular basis or who wants to create bootable disks.
While Windows 10 will start rolling out online on July 29, people who don't want to wait will soon have another option. Windows Central has learned that Staples stores in the US will begin offering customers a way to quickly update their old or new Windows 7 or 8.1 PCs to Windows 10 for free, even if the PC was not originally purchased at Staples. According to Windows Central source, Staples stores will perform the upgrade using USB files, rather than online. All stores should be able to handle these offline updates by August 2. Since we don't know yet how long it will take for Microsoft to complete the online roll-out for Windows 10, this might be a faster way for users to get their free upgrade, especially if their PCs are not signed up for the Windows Insider program. As with these types of programs, it's best to call your local Staples store ahead of time to find out when they will begin this upgrade offer. Source: WindowsCentral Stay Tunned, For More...
Remix Mini Is an Android Desktop for Under Rs. 2,000.
Today, we came across the Remix Mini , an Android based mini-PC. The company behind the Remix - Beijing-based Jide Tech - has created an OS it calls Remix OS, which is based on Android, but is heavily customised to give you desktop features such as a taskbar, and multi-window multi-tasking. Remix OS is designed to be used with a mouse and keyboard, running on the big screen. At the same time, it's based on Android, and you'll be using Android apps to get things done.
This might have seemed like a bad idea even a year ago, but there's a pretty good collection of apps on Android that take care of most productivity tasks, and there is also no shortage of fun little games you can play even without a touchscreen. . But perhaps the most appealing aspect of the Remix is the price - early bird backers could get the Remix 1GB version at just $20 (approximately Rs. 1,275). You can still get it at $30, or under Rs. 2,000. And if you want, you can get the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage version, at $40 (approximately Rs. 2,500). . As the Remix creators point out in the Kickstarter pitch, most people are spending a lot more just to check email and watch YouTube videos. If you're looking for a very basic computer, then why do you need to spend a huge amount of money on it? . The Remix Mini is powered by a 1.2GHz 64-bit quad-core processor, and the 1GB model comes with 8GB of storage, while the 2GB model comes with 16GB of storage. Both come with USB ports to connect an external HDD, and also include a microSD port.
There's an HDMI port to connect your display, Wi-Fi, and an Ethernet port, along with a 3.5mm jack to connect your headphones or speakers. . Another problem we had with some of the Android based Kickstarter projects has been that by the time the product is delivered, Android has marched on and the hardware is significantly behind the curve. Remix is supposed to be delivered anywhere in the world by October 2015 - if the company can actually meet this deadline, then the Remix Mini desktop sounds like a pretty good buy in our view. .
